Operations Center in Phoenix, STG offers the following hosting
services:
- Shared Hosting
– Shared hosting is web site hosting for multiple
companies on STG-owned servers. The servers, disk space,
peripherals, routers, and telecommunications bandwidth is
shared among many different web sites and companies. STG
manages all aspects of the shared hosting, but the client
retains responsibility for maintaining the web site itself.
Shared hosting is typically used for corporate “brochureware”
type sites and simple, low volume e-commerce sites.
- Co-location
– Co-location is the rental of space in our Network
Operations Center to clients who wish to place their servers
there. STG provides the space in the Network Operations
Center, electricity (including backup UPS power and
generators), HVAC, physical security, and connection to
telecommunications carriers. The client is responsible for
all maintenance of the servers and contracting for
telecommunications bandwidth.
- Managed Services
– As a Managed Service Provider, STG provides web site
hosting services to businesses and organizations
implementing complex, mission-critical web sites and
web-based applications. STG provides the computer hardware,
software, network technology, and systems management
necessary to offer its customers comprehensive outsourced
e-Business hosting solutions in a 24x7 operation. These
operations can be using dedicated STG-owned servers or
client-owned servers in a co-location arrangement. STG
performs all services including system administration,
hardware and network incident resolution, backups and
off-site storage, disaster recovery, and technical help desk
support. Managed Services is a complete outsourcing solution
for clients who do not wish to operate data centers or are
unable to attract and retain the technical staff to operate
and support operations.
- Bandwidth
– For our shared hosting and co-location clients, we are
able to provide as little or as much shared or dedicated
bandwidth as required. We have multiple, redundant
connections with different carriers to provide for maximum
availability and performance.
In addition, we provide technical support services in areas such as network design and architecture, capacity and performance planning and analysis, database selection and optimization, and security and firewall implementation.
